The hotel was built as the last of the great railway hotels during the golden age of steam. On entering the gothic, Grade II listed building, The Landmark’s soaring eight-storey, glass-roofed central atrium forms a unique focal point. Over 100 years ago, this was an uncovered courtyard used for horse-drawn carriages. It has now been transformed into The Winter Garden Restaurant, which is a picturesque place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.
From the applications submitted by prospective hotels to The Leading Hotels of the World, a very limited number are chosen to undergo the second phase of the acceptance process. The Landmark London has recently finished a multi-million pound suite refurbishment. The hotel’s 299 elegant guest rooms and suites are some of the largest in the Capital and blend sophisticated and luxurious décor with the latest technology.
