COMO Hotels and Resorts' first property opened in 1991 - the Halkin in London's Belgravia, conceived by the group's owner.
Currently COMO has two properties in London: the Halkin and the Metropolitan, London. The resort product launched in 1998 with Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos. In 2002, Cocoa Island in the Maldives was born. 2003 saw the opening of the Metropolitan, Bangkok, and in 2004 COMO introduced two inland cultural retreats, Uma Paro, Bhutan, and Uma Ubud, Bali. The latest addition to the group is COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri, a residential health retreat, which opened in Bali in 2005.

The Halkin is a haven in the heart of London's exclusive Belgravia.
