Rezidor opens Radisson SAS Zurich Airport

With the new Radisson SAS, situated directly on the airport premises, Zurich’s first on-site airport hotel opened in August 2008. Designed by the Italian star-architect Matteo Thun, the first-class hotel offers guests 330 rooms and suites in four different designs as well as a 2,400 square-metre event area and ballroom.

The hotel is situated opposite Terminal 1 just a few steps from the arrival and departure areas. With over 120 connections to various destinations throughout the world, the hotel represents one of the most significant air traffic turntables at the heart of Europe

The 330 contemporary rooms and business-class rooms, as well as one-bedroom suites in the four designs "At Home", "Chic", "Fresh" and "Charm", are perfectly conceived and comprise most modern furnishings.

  

Two restaurants, a bar plus fitness and wellbeing zones round up the hotels superb quality offers. Furthermore, free high-speed internet is available to both overnight and seminar guests throughout the hotel. 

First-class address for meetings and events close to the airport
With an area of 2,400 sq m at the disposal of guests, the hotel offers perfect conditions for every kind of event. Besides a total of 19 multi-functional event rooms, the first-class hotel also comprises an 800 sq m ballroom with foyer on the first floor, which can be divided into two or four separate rooms. Furthermore, on the seventh floor a 1,600 sq m large conference area is available – in part with an impressive panorama view of Zurich Airport and the majestic Swiss mountains. Here as many as 550 guests are accommodated for seminars and 400 for banquets.
