Jurys Inn Plymouth
Jurys Inns launches newest hotel in Plymouth
The property, which opened for business on 29 June, follows the successful Jurys Inn formula offering guests superior 3-star budget accommodation, with stylish bar and restaurant facilities, based in the heart of the city.
Featuring clean, contemporary design, warm and friendly service and great value for money, Jurys Inn is set to be a favourite with holidaymakers and business travellers alike.
The Bedrooms
The 247 spacious bedrooms have been designed with comfort and style in mind. The contemporary décor features a neutral palette with splashes of colour on the signature bedcovers and curtains.
Business travellers will benefit from high-speed internet access in all bedrooms, whilst an ample workspace, multi-channel flat screen TV, self-control air-conditioning, power shower and direct dial telephone all ensure work can continue in complete comfort for those on the move.
Those visiting the city for pleasure will be delighted by the 247 spacious family rooms which can accommodate three adults, two adults and two children sharing or just one person in complete comfort.
All windows open to accommodate lovers of fresh (sea!) air, and 20 of the rooms boast spectacular views of the historic harbour, the Plymouth skyline and the sea beyond. To add some local flavour the artwork on the walls has been especially created by local painter Stewart Cairnes.
Innfusion Restaurant
For those looking to enjoy a leisurely meal, the informal 160-cover Innfusion Restaurant provides a range of ‘value for money’ dining options, serving international cuisine and quality wines.
Offering a modern European menu, starters feature smoked duck and avocado salad; wild mushroom and chive soufflé and Thai fish cakes. Main courses include beef pie with pastry crust and new potatoes; grilled tuna steak with butter sauce or braised lamb shank in redcurrant and rosemary sauce or ricotta and spinach parcels. A selection of desserts includes banoffee pie; orange and chocolate bande or rhubarb and raspberry tart.
Children can dine from the children’s menu on such perennial favourites as fish fingers and peas followed by ice cream sundae.
Wines are reasonably priced, starting at £13.95 for a French Moreau.
Inntro Bar
Offering a contemporary environment in which to enjoy a quick lunch or drink with colleagues or friends, the 70-cover Inntro Bar features a varied menu of sandwiches, light dishes and drinks, including traditional fish and chips; fusilli with pesto and grilled vegetables or the Jurys Inn signature burger.
The glass-fronted façade looks onto Charles Cross Church opposite, creating an attractive, bright space, whilst exposed brickwork frames the wide-screen TV broadcasting news roundups at breakfast and key sporting events in the evenings.
Two 30 square metre al fresco terraces are set to become a hotspot for summer drinkers and exiled smokers.
Il Barista
For those tight on time, the no-nonsense ‘all day’ coffee bar Il Barista serves a range of pastries and gourmet coffee to go.
Meeting Rooms
Jurys Inn’s comprehensive business offering includes a range of services and meeting facilities to ensure that any trip runs as smoothly as possible. A suite of 11 dedicated meeting rooms can accommodate between 12 and 100.
