DAYS INN ARRIVES IN NOTTINGHAM
Following its acquisition of the 90-room Citilodge in Nottingham in April 2007, Butterfly Hotels announces that it is to re-launch the contemporary city-centre property as a Days Hotel, which is one of the tiers of the international Days Inn brand. The Days Hotel Nottingham will become one of the first properties in Europe to display the brand's new logo and image, which has been re-designed for the first time in Days Inn's 37-year history.

Days Hotel is one of the franchised brands of US hotel giant, Wyndham Hotel Group International; Nottingham is the first hotel in the Butterfly portfolio of seven hotels to be brought under the brand. Four of the group's other properties are branded as Ramada Hotels (also part of Wyndham).
The launch of the Days Hotel Nottingham is the latest move by Butterfly Hotels in its strategy to develop a portfolio of internationally-branded budget and mid-market hotels. Later this year, it expects to re-brand the Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage as a Ramada Hotel.
The six-storey Citilodge has 24-hour reception and 90 spacious rooms decorated in a contemporary style. All are air-conditioned and have free broadband internet access, colour TV with satellite stations, trouser press and ironing facilities; and tea and coffee making facilities. Room rates are from £60. There are thirteen conference rooms, including a fully equipped lecture theatre that seats 100 people. All have natural daylight, are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with free wireless and broadband internet access. Breakfast and conference lunches are served in the Conservatory restaurant and guests are able to dine in the Vision Bar and Restaurant, recently voted one of Nottingham's top five restaurants, where guests can watch the chefs create specialist dishes in its 'theatre' kitchen.

The hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, close to the theatre, The Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham Castle, the National Ice Arena and the city's shops, cinemas and restaurants. Nottingham is easily accessible from the M1 and close to East Midlands and Robin Hood Airport. Parking is available opposite the hotel in a multi-storey car park.
