Comfort Suites Goes Smoke-Free

In response to more and more travellers expressing their preference for a 100% non-smoking environment, Comfort Suites is proud to announce Breathing Room - their new smoke-free programme that places them among the first hotel brands to go completely smoke-free. In fact, they've deep cleaned all of their rooms and common areas to help ensure your travellers have the fresh air they want. So now they can breathe easy in every inch of the hotel. 

The move extends Choice's progressive legacy when it comes to smoking. In 1984, Choice became the first hotel company to introduce non-smoking rooms in every one of its properties worldwide. Choice's newest brand, Cambria Suites™, is also being launched as a smoke-free brand.

Comfort Suites stopped taking reservations for smoking rooms on April 30. All guests who had reservations for a smoking room after that date were notified by phone of the new policy. All U.S. properties converted smoking rooms to non-smoking rooms and posted signs throughout the hotels notifying guests of the ban on smoking. At all Comfort Suites properties, smokers are provided with at least one designated smoking area outside the hotel available 24 hours a day.

From now on, when your travellers check-in at any Comfort Suites hotel, not only will they find plenty of room to work and relax, they'll also find plenty of fresh air.
