There are currently 6000 agency members across Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain and Great Britain. Our growth plans are to more than double in size over the next 12 months and we expect to shortly make announcements about new member countries.
We hold a unique position, with a strong presence in both the leisure and business travel markets, as well as the smaller groups/incentive sector.
The core of W.I.N. is small to medium size independent agencies, which are small enough to care but big enough to count. Agencies are run by hands on management, often owner managers whom therefore have the authority and flexibility to react quickly to market conditions and opportunities.
The world is becoming smaller. All around us there is globalisation occurring. The worldwide web has opened up opportunities across borders and now the introduction of the Euro makes price comparison more transparent and increases the opportunity to work more closely on an international basis.
Globalisation is prevalent in the travel industry, with new groupings, mergers and purchases occurring all the time in all sectors: airlines, hotels, car hire, leisure travel and business travel.
Global groupings offer these sectors greater marketing opportunities and economy of scale efficiencies. W.I.N. is designed to achieve similar economies for independent travel agents, exploiting the opportunities that size present.
