Three restaurants in Tokyo are each proud holders of a Michelin star.

Restaurant tateru yoshino, Ginza which opened in September 2008 in downtown Tokyo, has been awarded a Michelin star this year, for the first time. Owned by Tateru Yoshino, who is also the owner/chef of Michelin-starred Stella Maris in Paris, serves dishes based on traditional French cuisine, using wholesome and, where possible, organic products. www.tateruyoshino.com
